An early start to the day saw us waving goodbye to Wendy at Heathrow who headed back to Melbourne. Determinted to get the correct EasyBus to the correct airport this time, we left what we considered ample time to arrive to Standstead. Alas, after a trip that took twice as long as expected, and needing to pay to check our bags on a plane we were left running from one side of the airport to the other in order to make our flight to Berlin.
We made it, and the flight into the city by night was beautiful. Our accommodation for the three nights is in a super convenient spot - right across the road from station, and a 15 minute walk from the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag and many other great sights of Berlin. Another win for AirBnB!
